UKCA / CE certification
Building & certifying machinery for the UK and EU markets
Forza machinery can be supplied built and certified for placing on the market under the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) and Conformité Européenne (CE) regimes. Below is practical guidance for businesses putting a machine — or a complete line — into service.
CE marking demonstrates that a product meets the relevant EU health, safety and environmental requirements for the EU/EEA market. UKCA is the Great Britain equivalent for England, Scotland and Wales. For machinery placed on the GB market, current UK government policy continues to accept CE marking alongside UKCA — so we can supply either, matched to where your product will be sold.
Industrial machinery generally falls in scope of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (being replaced by the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which applies from 20 January 2027) and, in Great Britain, the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008. Food-contact and pharmaceutical equipment can engage further requirements such as food-contact materials rules and GMP.
For every machine we can provide a Declaration of Conformity, the CE/UKCA mark, a technical construction file, a risk assessment to EN ISO 12100, electrical documentation to EN 60204-1, and operating & maintenance manuals. When separate machines are combined into a line, the assembler can become the manufacturer of the overall assembly and responsible for its conformity — where we integrate the line, we can carry that responsibility.

Can Forza machines be built and certified to UKCA or CE standards?
Yes. We can supply machinery CE-marked for the EU/EEA market and UKCA-marked — or CE-marked, which is currently accepted in Great Britain — for the UK market, complete with a Declaration of Conformity and a technical file.
What is the difference between UKCA and CE marking?
CE marking shows conformity with EU health, safety and environmental legislation for products placed on the EU/EEA market. UKCA is the equivalent for Great Britain. For machinery placed on the GB market, current UK policy continues to accept CE marking as well as UKCA, so we can provide either.
Which regulations apply to your machinery?

Who is the "manufacturer" when I buy a complete production line?
For a single machine, Forza or the original manufacturer is responsible. When separate machines are combined into an assembly or line, the party assembling it can become the manufacturer of the assembly and responsible for its overall conformity. Where Forza integrates the line, we can take that responsibility.
Do you provide a risk assessment and safety documentation?
Yes. We document a risk assessment to EN ISO 12100 covering guarding, safety distances, emergency stop and electrical safety, and include it in the technical file.
Can you certify equipment for markets outside the UK and EU?
We can build to other international standards on request. Tell us the destination market and we will confirm what is achievable.

How to price, specify and tailor a machine or a full line.
How do I get a price or quote?
Send your product, target throughput and packaging or process format via the enquiry form or WhatsApp, and we will recommend the right machine and price it up — usually within one working day.
Can I buy a single machine or a complete line?
Both. We supply standalone machines and complete turnkey lines, from source processing through to end-of-line packaging.
Do you supply custom or non-standard machines?
Yes. Capacity, product format, materials, controls and layout can all be configured, and we undertake the design and manufacture of non-standard equipment.
What information do you need to quote accurately?
Your product and its characteristics, target output per hour, container or pack format and sizes, available floor space, and your power supply. Photos or samples help.
Do you offer a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)?
Yes — we can arrange a Factory Acceptance Test so you can verify performance before shipment.
Lead times, delivery & installation
Getting the machine to your site and into production.
What are typical lead times?
Lead time depends on the machine and configuration and is confirmed on quotation. Standalone machines are typically faster than fully integrated lines.
Do you deliver and install on site?
Yes. We provide first-class engineering installation and commissioning, and support you through to production.
Which countries do you supply?
We supply the UK and export internationally. Tell us your location and destination market and we will confirm logistics and certification.
Do you provide commissioning and operator training?
Yes — commissioning, operator training and after-sales support are part of our service.
Quality, materials & GMP

Are your machines built to GMP standards?
Yes. Our pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic machines are designed to GMP standards with hygienic, easy-clean, corrosion-resistant construction.
What stainless steel do you use?
Product-contact parts are typically SS304 or SS316 to meet food and pharmaceutical hygiene requirements, specified to your application.
What electrical and control components do you use?
We build on tier-1 components — brands such as Siemens, ABB, Omron, Schneider, Panasonic, Delta, SMC and Festo — for reliable, serviceable performance. Over 80% of components come from world-leading suppliers.
Can the equipment be validated (IQ/OQ/PQ)?
Yes. We can support installation, operational and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and provide the documentation required for validation.

What warranty do you offer?
Machines are supplied with a warranty confirmed on your order, backed by after-sales engineering support.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes. Because we build on mainstream tier-1 components, spares are readily available, and we can supply recommended spares packages.
Do you offer ongoing service and maintenance?
Yes — we provide service, maintenance support and technical assistance for the life of the machine.
